Happy Monday! It’s a brand new week, so I thought I would share some beauty and happiness with you to get your week started off on the right foot. I have been photographing Dan and Kara for years now. I was lucky enough for them to ask me to photograph their engagement and wedding over five years ago and have been photographing milestones for them ever since. This is always the dream of every photographer to form connections and bonds with your clients so that you can continue to tell their story for years to come. They had their first adorable little, Lilyanna, a year and a half ago, and asked me to photograph their newest family addition, due in May!

 

Kara, Dan and Lilyanna met me at Kettle Cove State Park on a warm (ish) day in March to celebrate their growing family! It had just snowed that morning, but Kara was pumped to have most of it melted by the time their session rolled around because they had the most darling Spring outfits they wanted to rock. Can we just talk about how cute Lilyanna is for a second?!

 

Kara did a quick wardrobe change and put on this AMAZING red dress! Maternity sessions, in my opinion, should always be about celebrating your family, but also how crazy beautiful growing a human is.
