Nancy and Ian got engaged at Ian’s family’s camp in Maine last winter. They adorably journeyed into the snowy woods to search for a Christmas tree when Ian proposed! Naturally, they wanted to honor this moment by having their engagement session photographed at that very location. On the hottest day of the year (thus far!), I joined these two for some fun in the sun. Their camp is not too far from the Little Ossippee River so we took a quick little walk and played along the river. They were both so smiley and full of laughs, that the cutest factor went through the roof. Did I mention that they brought along their pup, Hobey? Get ready for the most energetic and ADORABLE pup ever. Keep scrolling for more about their session!
The first thing that Hobey did when we arrived to the river, was to launch himself right in. He is absolutely, 1000% motivated by sticks. He only just wanted to play with his mom and dad while they were trying to be all sorts of sweet while standing on a slippery rock in the river. Who could resist the most energetic dog who just kept finding the biggest sticks?!
With a quick wardrobe change, Nancy and Ian wandered around the green fields and near the barn to finish out their session. Hobey was relentless in his pursuit of play, popping up throughout their images. (Seriously, their full gallery is HYSTERICAL with the number of doggo photobombs!)
I can’t wait to celebrate their wedding this coming winter! Congratulations you guys!! Enjoy this summer full of wet pup smooches (see below), sunshine, and love xoxo
