I have been photographing Pat and Kyla since their engagement in 2017. I absolutely am honored when my wedding clients come back to me time after time to photograph their growing family. Being able to see Pat and Kyla’s story grow and being a part of capturing those memories for them is one of my favorite things. When Kyla reached out to do a family session in the fall of 2022, I was pumped.
Their little love bug, Naomi, joined them for a quick session at Gilsland Farm / the Maine Audubon in late October. This was Naomi’s first time in front of a camera (beyond her own family) and she was bit shy. However, once throwing leaves was introduced, that changed everything for her. Pat and Kyla shared that they had never really played in the leaves with her yet so this was a brand new experience.
This session was made even more special that I got to capture one of fall’s best features for the first time for Naomi. Can we just acknowledge how absolutely ADORABLE her joy is? Her smile is so infectious throughout the remainder of this session as she continually reaches for leaves. Please scroll through these images as they could be some of the cutest ever!
