COLOR, LAUGHTER, AND A CHEST BUMP | BROOKE & TREVOR’S VIBRANT SUMMER WEDDING

Some weddings just radiate happiness from start to finish—and Brooke and Trevor’s sunny July wedding was absolutely one of those days. From the vibrant colors to the electric dance floor, every second was full of joy, laughter, and FUN that felt straight out of a summer dream.

Brooke and Trevor tied the knot on July 16, 2022, on one of the hottest, sunniest days of the year. Their ceremony took place at St. Maximilian Kolbe Church in Scarborough, Maine, surrounded by so many smiling faces ready to celebrate this perfect pair. Brooke got ready at her parents’ beautiful beachside home. Trevor prepped at the cozy house they share together—each buzzing with excitement that this day was finally here.

DREAMING IN COLOR

Can we talk about their details for a second? Their vibrant flowers and colorful accents were the stuff of dreams for a photographer like me. Every bouquet, boutonniere, and table setting was a bright, joyful explosion of color that perfectly matched their energy. It felt like walking through a technicolor garden party in the best way possible. (Shoutout to Clo Floral and Pinch Me Planning for bringing this to life!)

After the heartfelt ceremony, we made our way to Dunegrass Golf Club in Old Orchard Beach for a reception that was ready to party. And party they did! Led by the incredible Isaiah Bennett, the dance floor was absolutely wild from the moment it opened. (I swear I didn’t see a single person sitting down all night!)

A FATHER AND DAUGHTER DANCE LIKE NO OTHER

One of the most unforgettable moments? Brooke and her dad, Richard, kicked off the party with the most hilarious and heartwarming father/daughter dance. Complete with a round of shots and a full-out singalong to Toby Keith’s Red Solo Cup, they had the entire crowd laughing, singing, and raising their imaginary red cups in the air.

When it came time for golden hour portraits, Brooke and Trevor basically turned into supermodels. I’m not kidding—they needed almost no direction. They snuggled, laughed, and twirled their way through the golden light, with a golf cart adventure to find the perfect little hidden spot (though Caitlin and I may or may not have had a minor golf cart fail along the way… totally worth it!). At one point, by request, they even celebrated with a spontaneous chest bump—and yes, it was pure perfection.

COLLEGE SPORTS & ROMANCE

Their love story is as sweet as their wedding day. Brooke and Trevor first crossed paths through her older brother, Tyler, and officially met during their first week at UNE. Between long hours in the gym—Brooke playing basketball, Trevor on the hockey team—and countless adventures, they built a love story that stretched from college to Norway, through highs and heartbreaking losses, new pups (shoutout to Bailey!), and all the everyday moments in between.

After eight years of memories, adventures, beach drives around Biddeford Pool, and a surprise proposal on Goose Rocks Beach, these two finally got to say I do in front of their favorite people. It was so clear that everyone in the room was so ready to celebrate them.
