ROMANCE, SUNSHINE & SWEET VOWS | DREW & COURTNEY AT THE BETHEL INN RESORT

Some weddings just feel like love from the moment you arrive. Drew and Courtney’s August day at the Bethel Inn Resort was exactly that. Romantic, whimsical, and filled with soft pastels, their wedding was a dreamy summer celebration wrapped in sweet, heartfelt moments.

Under a blazing blue(ish) sky on August 20, 2022, these two started their forever in front of family and friends. It was the little moments between them that truly stole the show. Drew and Courtney are the kind of couple who are absolutely, head-over-heels in love. Capturing their day was such a lovely reminder of why I adore this job.

AN UNFORGETTABLE FIRST LOOK

Their first look? Unforgettable. Drew was completely overcome (yes, tears were shed!) when he turned around and saw Courtney. That raw, sweet emotion is what wedding days are all about — once-in-a-lifetime feelings frozen in time.

Krissy Campbell’s fine art touch wove through every little detail, giving the whole day an elegant and whimsical vibe. From delicate florals to thoughtfully styled accents, everything looked like it belonged in a magazine spread. Don’t even get me started on the dessert bar — Melissa from Bear Brook Bakery crafted an absolute masterpiece. The minimalist, architectural three-tier cake was beyond — you’re definitely going to want to scroll to see it!

Their ceremony, bathed in golden sunshine (and okay, a little summer sweat!), was filled with some of the most sincere and touching vows I’ve heard. Every word felt so personal and true, and you could feel their love radiating through every guest seated there.

BRINGING THAT PARTY ENERGY

Their celebration was pure joy. The speeches had the whole crowd laughing, with Drew’s best man, Rasheed, bringing an energy that lit up the entire room. When the dance floor opened, it was instant magic — packed from the first song, full of smiles, laughing, and the best kind of joyful chaos. Honestly, I was sad to leave because their guests were still going strong, filling the room with electric energy that you could feel in your bones.

Drew and Courtney’s love story started back at Endicott College in 2014. From chance meetings through mutual friends to long chats before Courtney’s trip to Peru, their connection blossomed into something so beautiful and lasting. Eight years later, surrounded by the people who watched their love grow from those early days in Beverly, Massachusetts, they stepped into their next chapter — and it couldn’t have been sweeter.
