Questions & Answers
How long have you been a wedding photographer?
I've had a camera in my hand for most of my life. My first camera was a Fisher Price film camera that I used to document the stories my little sister and I would set up with our toys. However, on a professional level, I have been photographing weddings since 2012!
Where are you from?
I am originally from the seacoast area of New Hampshire! However, I have called coastal Maine my home for nine years now. I am based out of Portland, but have recently found a new home in the midcoast area of the state.
What gear do you use when you photograph?
I use all of the best Canon equipment (specifically Mark IVs and R6s) as well as mostly prime lenses (with the 35mm being my favorite). I also photograph some of your portraits and details on film. For that, I use the Pentax 645N. The shutter on that camera is the most relaxing and rewarding sound to me!
How would you describe your photographic style?
Colorful. I am always overjoyed and enthusiastic when I get to photograph those gorgeous color palettes you chose to accent your day! I also would consider myself a brighter and more vibrant photographer. I want to capture true-to-life color and provide timeless imagery for my clients.
How far do you travel?
I would fly around the world for you! I am based out of Maine, but am more than willing to travel both domestically and internationally. I have photographed couples throughout the US and most recently a wedding in Mexico! Where would you like to take me?!
