Kathryn + Kevin | Mount Battie Camden Wedding Photography | Maine Wedding Photographer

Weddings

the blog:

Oh weddings, I have missed you. I am already missing photographing all those lovebirds getting ready to start a new chapter together. So, to pass the time until I can do that (I see you May), I thought I would share some of my favorite weddings from last year. Granted, with COVID running rampant, I didn’t get a chance to photograph as many cuties as I wanted to. I did get to capture Kathryn and Kevin’s big day! These two flew up from Florida to tie the knot in Camden, Maine. It wasn’t necessarily the wedding they had been planning, but they were surrounded by their closest family members and still got to celebrate their love! With a much more intimate day planned, Kathryn and Kevin decided to meet me at their church, Our Lady of Good Hope in Camden, to start our time together. Their ceremony was absolutely adorable in the cutest little church downtown. Scroll down to take a peek and to hear more about their big day!

After their ceremony, I met them at their Airbnb so that we could get some portraits of their wiggly fur baby, Bailey. Bailey was SO excited to be a part of her parents’ big day that she could hardly sit still to adorn her floral collar. Filled up with lots of doggo kisses, we headed to the downtown area for portraits! Kathryn and Kevin really wanted to capture Camden in the fall. They had never had their portrait taken together professionally and, having flown all the way up to Maine, they wanted it documented thoroughly. We explored the library and harbor before toodling over to the top of Mount Battie. Can I just say it is one of my absolutely favorite spots now to photograph?! That view was AMAZING and these two were the sweetest. I am so, so thankful that I was able to capture their special day, admist a pandemic. I am forever grateful for them for choosing me to document it. Now, keep scrolling and enjoy these beauties!
